Maureen is respected in her community as a wife, mother and grandmother. She is active in several local organizations including Junior League, Foundation for Foster Children, and Park Avenue District.
how it started
“my loves were simple…”
I am often asked how I got started in the stationer business, and it’s a simple answer! It was my love for paper, proper grammar, etiquette and elegant events!
After moving from Connecticut with my husband in 1973, I started my business out of our home in 1977. I moved to my Park Avenue shop in 1986 and I’m still there today!
In addition to my excitement for all things beautiful, I have a lovingly supportive husband, Miles Dearden, 4 children and 8 grandchildren who I absolutely adore!
